This is my build of Trumpeters HMS Eskimo ,although its not as it says on the box "1941" ,the kit in fact depicts a pre-war Tribal .So I decided to build it as the most famous Tribal HMS Cossack as she appeared when first built in 1938. This kit has received a "bad press" from a certain warship site because of some silly errors Trumpy have made ,ie a 8 barrelled pom-pom ,German style motor boats ,etc.I think mainly because it is a Trumpeter kit ,and they don`t like that make .These errors are easily corrected and the kit itself was a joy to build.I will doing more builds of this kit incorperating the war-time mods. Regards Phil

Nicely done, and a good portrayal of the famous Cossack in classic late '30s Med colours.
I'm pleased to hear some good press about this kit for a change, there are few enough British plastic ship kits out there so would probably want to get this one myself one day.

Very nice Diorama indeed. I will be having this ship soon, having allready looked inside the box. So many get put off by experts??? and its ashame, as most kits out today are trying to give us more variety. But the faults can soon be put right. The basic hull and detail is spot on. Hope you get yours soon Lioner mate
