Hi Everyone, just wondering if any of you were as impressed as i was by the HMV Model Stand, as in my thread on another part of this forum im seriously tempted to get one,my other question would be if it was to be entered into completion, which class would it be, and would it be considered real modelling, ( the one im thinking of has over 6000 parts). Any comments would be most welcome.

Paper models have always been very popular in Germany and Poland for as long as I can remember. the quality gets better and better as the years go by. As to what section you would enter them in? do we have a section for paper models?
Tip: you will need a good quantity of new blades. Use water colours for touching up edges etc and purchase a small card model to practice on before attempting any of the larger kits.

Many thanks Roy,i do have a fair amount of experience with card and paper from my Railway modelling days, so hopefully I should be able to resolve any problems I come across, if I cant im sure some of the helpful people on here would be able to help.

Hi Everyone, well I have now purchased the Modern german supply ship, and am impressed by the level of detail, the booklet contains over 36 pages of parts, plus I also bought the laser cut items another seven sheets, I have made a start on the model, and the photos are two weeks work, I will update as and when I have something constructive to show, hope you like Dave
