Tony and the comps team did a splendid job over the SMW weekend in overseeing and regulating the competition. It worked better with just the one entry/exit point, and the partition from the cafeteria area being kept in place. The year before people were entering the competition area complete with back packs etc via a gap at the far end of the room because the partition was folded back. Having the partition closed stopped this problem. Also the baggage put down and reclaim area was increased and worked very efficiently this time around. The comps area did get a bit crowded at times, but as it was a special anniversary year we had many more competitors and viewers to contend with. Only judges and members of the EC and designated marshalls should be allowed in the area whilst judging takes place. Judges badges with their name on it and the SMW year on it I think maybe would be a good idea to stop anyone trying to gain access during judging. Press and official photographers get an hour set to one side exclusively for themselves first thing on the Sunday morning of the show before any one else is allowed in, so there is no need for them to be in the area whilst judging is taking place. Tony and the lads should take great credit for a well organised competition. Thanks Noel for those comments. The team and I really appreciate it. we do try to get the competition to run as best we can. Just a couple of things to change for 2014. If we get the same numbers of models entered into the competition in 2014 I'm sure we will be able to cope. Tony.

I agreed with Tony and Noel, with comments. Next year, security staff will get enter/exit point into competition area and massive problem with overcrowding there. No problem

Enough please? Tony has taken this on board, we need to support him by letting him and his team sort it out over the next few months, rather than expecting answers through this forum immediately.
