You get to a point in life where you are overun with 14 ml tins! The question is, how best to store them? So, in my case I fill drawers - kitchen unit size, so the bottom is covered, then I start putting a layer on top. Net result is a draw I can't use for anything else! Over the years I have acquired what you might call a collection of 'classis' paint. That to me is 'real' Humbrol Authentics, back from the 70's. I obviously haven't used them for years and I would probably buy a new tin of Extracolour or such like but how do you store paint tinlets? Is there a perfect, probably clear plastic/polyurethane, container on the market that takes tinlets and can be bought at reasonable cost and then stacked? I would be interested to know what you do, then I can do the same and shove the majority of stock into the cellar - climatically controlled of course (!!!****!!!). I should probably keep a list on the PC so I know what I've got and where it is (good idea) and, of course, all the 'standards' can sit in the draw mentioned at the begining, ready for frequent use and not covered with everything else!
I look forward to receiving your replies, thanks in advance

Staples sell a range of small grey filing cabinets for desk top use. Plastic four or five drawers each drawer holds fifty sixty tins and is almost the exact depth of a Humbrol tinlet/Tamiya (new size) bottle.

Staples do a series of boxes in various sizes which are tough and stackable, called really useful boxes. I use 2 of them for lifecolor paints which are larger, and they're clear, so you can see the contents. I don't know how many you'll need but the price for them is reasonable.
