Ian , Got this from a friend ..regarding the "Tractor"........unfortunately due to his relative being in the pics ..that he sent I cannot send on ..........Sorry --"word given " This is part of the info he sent to me recently .... QUOTE** Regarding the T34 ARV (rather a tractor than a real ARV): the Austrian Army had only one of those. As far as I know, it was part of the first tank school unit and was decomissioned in 1957 or 1958. Unfortunately, there are very little references on this particular vehicle ............. ..........Not so long ago, there was a feature story of a turretless Afghan T34 (the same vehicle) in the AFVModeller magazine (must have been issue 39 - March 2008). ***UNQUOTE Hope this helps ..... aye BARV

Looks like the bottom half of the T34/85, with the hatches and ca poler from the turret, I would say a heavy tractor for towing other tanks or for heavy artillery.
Have seen this picture before but like you cannot place it.
T34s were used for many roles, there is even a lorried version(cargo).
