:'(hi ;D just like many other modellers out there i have been very wary about 1/6 scale often mocking the military modelling articles & questioning their right to be included in our hobby but with the gradual release of 1/6 items from dragon i have become increasingly curious & after months of searching i have now seen the light!! [glow=red,2,300][/glow] check out this website & see if it changes your opinion? www.vonabt.co.uk/gallery.htmi think maybe 1/6 does have a legitimate place in our hobby just as much as 1/48 now wheres my bank managers phone number

I sigh and roll my eyes when I come across people who suggest things like that.
A model is a model - regardless of scale. If it's plastic and requires some assembly then it's also elligible for IPMS competition classes, right? So what if it's big?

after many years of model making, mostly ww2 axis, and mostly because of the colour schemes, i have moved on to 1/6 figures, i too have seen the light, i have even begun to sculp, i believe that is the correct term, my own. and yes they are plastic, and resin is plastic, and they need putting together, often with considerable dexterity and milliput, and painted, the beauty is that at 12 or so inches you can free hand airbrush very realisticly. and the space needed is very small. give it a try, the only limit is your imagination.
