How do chaps, Is it safe to prime Tamiya one piece tracks (old type) with their grey primer spray paint? Or will it reduce them to a sticky, gooey mess? Never used it before, hence the question Thanks in advance. Steve

Hi Steve. I remember that if you used Poly glue then the tracks deteriorated rapidly, but not with Primer have I heard this will happen. Is the track the very shinny type that flops about and feels even sticky, well if you try with only a little primer first, then more when dry later and so on. Another is to coat in Klear first to seal it. If this does not work, then try a later Tamiya track of the same type, if you tell me what type of vehicle you are useing, I may have a spare!!!!. Hope this helps.

Not sure matey. I suggest a surface test on an old set first. Or check you can get Fruil ones before trying it incase of the need to replace
