Hi all while at the nationals I picked up a set of the new Gaz wheels from Miniart . I had hoped to build a GAZ AAA but there are not enough wheels for it . So I had to back build to the AA. The build is complete in sectionals , all I need is the weather to warm up for priming . Then onto the winter cammo . Polka Dot , yes you read it right . I have a photo which I cannot scan for copyright reasons but it shows one in white Polka dots over 4BO . It is going to be a challange to get the dots uniform in shape and size. More to follow as weather improves . cheers ian

Hi Ian.
Was going to use the Gaz AA kits but needed the AAA one which is out soon.
I have the Gaz AAA on order for my Ruski Armoured car.
I also have an Ammo tender, this comes with the new version of wheels, it is a very good way of getting the feel of Russian wheels at this time for trucks etc.

Hi Ian. The kit number for the Gaz AAA Family Wheels set is:-35112. Can be used for the Gaz AAA Lorry,BA-3-6-and 10 Armoured cars, plus other smaller trailers. I got mine from Hobby link of Japan but Creative models might have it as they are mini art UK distributer of there kits. Hope this helps.

Nice going Ian. Is this vehicle for parades or in the field with the white mudguards. I know the Russians used the white and black for parades and in Berlin for Identification during the war, so was just wondering . Looking good so far, I like the sag in the canvas rear roll down.
