What's in this issue? - Rescue Rover ~ After discovering an example of an ex-RAF crash rescue ambulance in a museum, John Tapsell was inspired to produce a 1/35th version from the Tamiya Land Rover kit.
- Land Rover Walk round ~ Reference pictures to accompany the ambulance build.
- G-APDK - A Comet 4 ~ Following on from the Nimrod in the last issue, we now have its forerunner in the shape of a de Haviland Comet 4. Simon Lind builds and recalls some childhood memories.
- Operation Battleaxe Crusader ~ John Bryce builds a Mk.1 Crusader in 1/35th scale, using the Italeri kit as a basis for a certain amount of kit bashing.
- Northern Ireland Spec Wessex ~ The long serving Westland Wessex HC.2's of 72 Sqn., RAF were uniquely configured for life in the Province as seen in these pictures by Andrew Deeley. Words by John Tapsell and Chris Ayre.
- A Wessex tale ~ Building an RAF Wessex HC.2 in 1/48th scale was never going to be an easy job ... but with determination and a lot of patience, Dave Eales shows the way.
- On Show - Shropshire ~ The Shropshire Scale Model Show at the RAF Museum Cosford is well established as one of the highlights of the modelling calendar. John Tapsell reports on the 2011 event.
