Would anyone have any pointers or examples to show how I could create a 1/48 tarpaulin?
At SMW I saw some great aircraft dioramas with tarpaulins on the aircraft.
Many thanks

Hi you will need a disposable spectacle cleaning cloth . Open up the packet and crumple the cloth and then lay out flat to dry . It can then be cut to size and glued with liquid poly or super glue , paint or varnish . It takes normal acrylic primer and paint as well as enamel , as with all new tips try out on scrap item first . i have been using them for years . cheers ian

I use crumpled up tissue paper coated with thinned PVA glue, laid in place and allowed to dry, then painted in your preferred colour.

Ok thanks for the tip. I'll post some pics when complete. I've just finished the build (of a £2 kit) that I bought at the kit swap. An italieri p51 that I've cut together with a tamiya kit + aires parts. It's been a nightmare build but almost complete. Now going to do my first diorama.
Thanks again
