Hy! I'm Keri from Hungary. This is my first articel here at IPMS UK. My current project is the Scammell 100 tonner. This will be full schratchbuild project.I'm using stirol, resin, wood.I've got a lot's of help from Michael Bammel(www.heavy-haulage-history.de) but I still have dark areas, but would be too expensive to travel to Leyland to visit this beauty. I need more photos/drawings about engine, engine bay, lower side of front susp.,gearbox.Could you help me with this problem? WIP photos: Any comments are welcome! Best Regards Keri

Man both these models look great the scratch building is terrific, Jim R you telling me that this thing hauled 100 ton as a chain drive truck boy is that some feat, I tell U all my friends I knew the pommes could build some good rigs in the early days BUT this beats the cake. You have both pulled up a great rig to model and I hope and pray that you Keri do finish it and will be looking forward with great anticipation on a truck well built. Dingo

Hi Dingo, Thanks for the kind remarks. They (there were only ever two of them) did haul heavy loads and were still in service until the mid 1950`s, due to lack of any competition in this area of haulage.

Just a passing thought, that Beyer. Peacock steam locowould that have been a 4 10 0 or 2 10 0 wheel set or a 4 10 2 or a 4 10 4 wheel set, can't really tell from the photo as it looks like the front and even the rear small wheel sets have been removed for transportation. As a former loco buff I'm just interested that's all. Oh by the way that rivet work is some proper job, man U are so dedicated to small tiresome work. Dingo
