Hi Dave, Without knowing exactly what the model is that you are entering or what you may or may not have done to it, I have tried to throw a bit of light onto your question with a general answer. Look in the Civilian Vehicles Classes in the SMW Competition rules. A 1/24th scale car would be entered in a class designated 1/29th up to and including 1/21st scale, as 1/24th scale falls in between these scales. If you have built it straight out of the box it will have to be entered as SK (standard kit). If it is converted or detailed look for the ASC and ASD definitions. If it is a hot rod, custom or drag racing car there is a separate class within the category for this. Also there is a class for scratchbuilt models regardless of scale within the category. Please ensure that you check out the latest SMW rule definitions for clarification of the definition that apertains to your particular model. If still in doubt contact the competitions secretary. Hope this helps. Kind regards Noel Smith

Many thanks Noel, it will be the new belkits ford fiesta kit built from the box, the kit does contain as standard metal etch parts, so i can assume that as they are provided in the kit this will still count as a standard kit. Many thanks Dave

Hello Dave
just one point to add to noels comments. if you enter this model into a standard kit class (sk) please insure that the model is accompanied by the instructions, this is so that the judges can check that any detail parts that are supplied in the kit are correct and not an accessory.
