Hi All this is my 1st build after coming back to the hobby,I built this in February 2012. Tamiya 1/48th scale P-51 D Mustang, piloted by Clarence E. "Bud" Anderson's. The models are painted with Vallejo model air paints, applied with an Aztek spray brush. After sales components include an Eduard cockpit detail set and super scale decals, which are applied using micro set and micro sol. There is also a Verlinden 1/48 scale base, and ground crew and a Tamiya jerry can set. I know there are a few mistakes on this with the build, but I hope you all enjoy.

Looks great. I especially like the engineers looking like they're deciding how best to proceed.

Well, if this is a return to the hobby it just goes to show you haven't lost your touch. The more I look, the more amazing it becomes. A very busy and realistic scene, I particularly like the cloth hanging realsiticly from the leading edge of the wing, the cockpit's a little marvel, and not too much pressure in the tyres.
Great stuff, something to be proud of.

Ooh, that is a great looking diorama, with lovely finishing of the detailing.

That's just raw talent! Very good, I'm inspired to try a diorama.
