Thanks Nige - haven't had chance to do much over the last couple of weeks, but I think the light at the end of the tunnel may not be a man with a torch ;D.

A small update ... The canopy has got to be added, then I'm calling it done! Shall put it on a base with some real Welsh coal, and then admire it from about 4 feet away! It looks quite good when you do that!

Harriet Looks very good from all angles so far !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you crushing coal to put in the hopper ?? Some times a challenge is worth seeing all the way through !!!!!!!!!!! I will get my big one out and flash it at the end of the tunnel !!!!!!!!!!!! My torch Nick before you call me into the headmaster's room too !!!!!!!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha

Well, I'm now positively P'd off with this ... last night, in a fit of enthusiasm, I put the canopy on and left it on the turn table for the glue to cure/dry. Great, I think, it's just about finished, just a little touching up to do with a paint brush. So, I left it well alone, and turned to the computer to find some paint equivalents. I cannot tell you what I thought when about half an hour later I heard a crash ... yes the thing had fallen off the turn table onto the bench. Yep - even the front wheels have fallen off! Rats, rats, rats, and double rats I'm going to have another go at finishing it - but not just at the moment!
