Hello to everyone. Since suffering a stroke in 2002 I have had to downscale my pastimes from restoring classic cars to building and restoring model steam engines (mostly Mamods). My 6 y/o grandson has got interested too, which gives me a greater incentive and together we have started creating a small O gauge live steam railway in my wife's back garden. This is now including much repainting of engines and rolling stock, construction of stations and other trackside buildings, as and when we are allowed.
I expect that I will be asking more questions on this forum than I shall be able to answer, so I hope you will al be gentle with an ageing enthusiast. Peter

Mostly Rootes, two Sunbeam Alpine series 5, Hillman Husky series 1, Sunbeam Talbot 90 Mk.2 convertible, Sunbeam Mk.3 convertible, Wolseley 1500, Hillman Hunter, Reliant Scimtar GTE. Plus assisting various friends with their vehicles.
