RF
Thats an interesting photo. You sure that is a camera fairing seems a little further aft than expected. Had similar photo of a different aircraft, slightly different bulge and turned out to be a radio antenna fit.
Im sure you know your stuff - so look forward to seeing the finished build.

Paul Paul, I defer to the Bf109 "expert", Lynn Ritger. See this post: www.network54.com/Forum/149674/thread/1256326401/Bf+109E-3%2C+best+choice+in+kit-Larry

Hello fellow members, Just finished my last one of the theme - Italeri Do 217 E in 1/72. The model represents a Do 217 E-2 from 6/KG 40, circa 1942/43 Rear Fuselage modified to address the skinny shape of the Italeri kit and engines improved with AIMS front ring and other mods If there is enough interest I might prepare an English version of the original build report in German on Flugzeugforum.de Regards, popeye .

Ju 188 F, 3.F/33, Hasegawa 1/72A lot of zest in all forums when Hasegawa announced the Ju 188 - but a surprising silence since. Are the kits really to expensive or is the interest in WWII bombers fading ? Anyhow – the kit is worth every yen, dollar, pound or euro. There are some fit issues – especially the join of the lenthened wings needs some filler and blending in. The cockpit is detailed and has a correct floor and the transparencies are crystal clear and fit the new cockpit section like a glove.

. Colin;
thanks - always nice to hear that !
Colin & THC,
yes - it's post-it discs painted up in the camo colours to cover the swasticas.
the pics were taken for pub on German "flugzeugform.de" and used on Photobucket as well to prevent deleting - as has already happened with pics of the Me 410 some time ago.
The camo scheme is realised after "Aufklärer Volume Two" by Classic Colours,
and I would like to thank Dave Wadmann for some additional information in writing very much.
Cheers, Rolf

Bummer!! I have the Ju88D-1 kit, but plan on using the 900 liter tanks on it. I hope you are right about them releasing a future dedicated recce version. I will wait till then to buy one. Cheers, Larry
