Here you go Nick. Here's another model i've been working on for about three years. It will be 6.0 metres high when fully rigged. Thats a 1/24th scale NASCAR model next to it This is what it will look like !!!

Thanks Nick. If I ever get the Demag crane finished it would get the Truck SIG display noticed at the SMW

We'd need a whole shed to put it in!!
I seem to remember a scratchbuilt crane wow what a model.
Actually it reminds me of a much smaller project I've had in mind for some years now which was to build a tugmaster. You know, one of those tractor units you see in yards to shunt trailers. They have a similar one man cab to the crane operators and a hydraulic 5th wheel. All the bloke does is hook up, attach a red air line and go.
I did have some pics of one, but I dunno where they are at the mo, I even went as far as contacting the manufacturer for some plans.
Wolfie.

That would be a good model. The one i've seen has a cab that turns round.

Somewhere within TMW, there's a picture of a Tugmaster built by Dave March of Northampton. I also remember featuring a colour photo in the 'Helpers and Haulers' newsletter from the old Truck SIG.
