OK, the truck build is on. If I schedule a start date of June 1st and leave the finish date open, who's in and what are you building? I fancy having a go at this little monster (or something similar) ... ... and something to carry it maybe?

We have 6 entrants so far for the Truck gb, I've set up the rooms for each build and locked them until the start date which at the moment is set for June 1st, the closing date is open.
Any subject, any era, any scale which leaves you to build as you prefer, either box stock or with as many additions and scratchbuilt items as you like, it's up to you. At the end of the build, we'll post the finished models on the forum.

Nick What are you classing as a truck As I have a Cooters style tow truck I fancy building or The Black Magic kit if I pluck up the courage to start it only had it for about 25 years bought it when the snap-tite rigs were all the rage then realised it wasn't snap-tite. Will give me a side project to the amount of scratch building/modifying of bits of salvaged kits on the Wacky Racer Project.

What are you classing as a truck I had thought originally to limit the range to large trucks such as Peterbilt, Kenworth and of course their European cousins. The model I was going to build was a wrecker based on a NYFD rig. But as I'm a nice bloke really and thinking of now producing something silly ... anything goes, just have fun Pat .. are you in then?

Well it would appear that I have joined the build so here she is. My FH12, a KFS RH dash and a photo of the original unfortunately before the livery was done. Wolfie. PS This will unfortunately mean my withdrawal from Wacky Races as there just aren't enough hours in the day.

Ayup Nick would that be KFS TQ-MT-4?? Erm ... probably? ... if you need any wheels and tyres, please let me know, there must be some in the stash. You can also try Mick Gannon of M & G Mouldings: www.mgmouldings.co.uk/volvo.htm ... Part V22

'Probably' isn't helping mate cos I dunno what a steering push axle is LOL Sorry Wolfie ... Have a look at your Volvo photo, the middle axle is missing from the kit so aftermarket parts are required. I'm presuming it's a steering axle and it's in front of the rear drive axle, therefore ... it's a push axle and it steers. You would have to give KFS a call to determine the correct part required and if extra items (tyres, wheels, brake drums etc) are required. ;D
