Looking great, the wheels are real alloys are they. That was one thing that allways annoyed me about building 1/24th trucks, you`d spend say £20 on a kit then probably anyway upto £100 on aftermarket parts. Well spotted Lonewolf, must another Howard gem like the classic `Real Wheel Steering`.

Just been pricing up the panels i need for my mini, and they`ll top £400,so model building was cheaper i guess.

Well Ive added the top coat to the cab, but for some reason there apears to be a pink tinge to the colour now now im hoping as it hardens it lightens up.... we shall see... Pinted and added the spare, mounted the cab and side arch panels and finaly put together the lower grill/bumper with lights... Thats it for tonight, more tommorow.

I've heard of this pink tinge trouble before on red plastic.
Theres an article on it in a TMW somewhere from way back. Nick might remember.
Looks OK in the pics tho mate.

There was a feature article in Scale Auto Enthusiast edition before last about this. I'll dig it out. I think Mr Color surfacer was one solution, basically you use quite a 'bleed resistant' primer. The example they used was for a white finish. Rich

well im nearly finished working on the unit, just a couple of minor bits to add on.
Its been a frustrating build this one..... first my white truck comes out peach! although I have seen a haulage company around here whos wagons are pearch and green.....
and secondly the windscreen is the worst fitting screen i have ever had the displeasure of fitting.....
I dont know why they have made it so but there is only just under a milimeter of plastic to adhear to the cab around the screen....
so as you can imagine there is a little bit of glue seapage onto the glass. but im hoping that the fact the truck is a girly pearch will detract the eye from that lol
