Here's what I will be building. Its the Italeri Volvo FH12 XL70, but ignore the box art as it will be a completely different colour: And the truck below is my inspiration, the colour will be different but I have all the lights to add to it ;D. And before you say it Nick / Fatty "yes it may look good all lit up". Well you never know : Bugger the wheel hubs are different

Hasnt the blue one gotten "super single" tyres on the front?
If they are then wouldnt the wheels would be different anyway?

Ayup Spike,
The photo of the truck kit shows chrome wheels front and rear. The truck you want to replicate has wheel trims on the rear, possibly on steel rims. The front wheel has a step ring fitted directly to the wheel nuts, this is a basic fitment and I've got several in the stash should you require any.
If super singles are fitted on the front axles of trucks in the UK, the law requires that the tyre does not protrude beyond the body and will require the fitment of a spoiler.

Yep a tilt trailer and I have only gone and got one off Ebay to go with the truck ;D. There is also another reason that the trailer will hold the mini power station to power all the lights I intend to put on this rig ;D:

So as long as I fit wider arches to go with the spoiler there shouldn't be a problem. Kind of "pimp my wagon", plenty of room by the air tanks for some Nos bottles as well ;D .

How about plumbing Spike, brake lines and stuff? Thinking about it, I took some pictures when we had one in the yard but not what needed to do all the brake lines, etc. Anybody got any detailed pictures to help me out .

I have a few cos I have access to an FH12. Thing is when I went on Friday to snap it, it was attached to a trailer and I couldn't see everything I wanted. I will be going back at some point to get some better ones.

Oh boy you are taking a job on there, I don't have any brake drawings but I have a full set of every chassis drawings if any one needs them in 1/25th scale, can easily be turned into 1/24th. That is not the best tilt trailer you would be much better off with the Airfix/ Heller Kit. cheers

Just occured to me Spike, I am building a different FH12 variant to you so my plumbing will be different. But I dunno that it matters that much?

I have said pics now if you are still interested. Wolfie. Definately, I have looked at your truck and its looking great, we have got an FH12 come into the yard, and if it ever stops raining I am going to get some pictures taken of it. But I would like to see yours.
