LOL during said muck out, I came across summat I bought a while since. Its a kit which someone had totally removed the parts from the sprues and bagged up to save space. I'd forgotten all about it. Its a Kenworth tipper with a drag tipper. In other words a wagon and drag which are both tippers! A curious arrangement if you ask me. Problem is, not only are all the parts loose, but there are none of the chrome bits. So no exhausts, wheels, fuel tanks, grilles, mirror brackets, light fittings etc etc. So what do I do with it. I did think of building it or modifying it to pull that logging trailer, both requiring a source of chrome parts, or robbing the front axle for my MAN and having a good spares selection. Wolfie.

Wolfie, if I remember correctly, that Kenworth has air suspension, which basically makes it a road truck. For a true logger, you need something hefty with walking beam suspension which will allow it to go off road. Why not see what Howard has in the form of heavy suspension and beef up the Kenworth?
Have a look on Google for pictures of loggers.

You can bring the logs to the truck at the road side and load them you know!
See the pic of my FH12 on the 'Trucks I have known' thread. That had air suspension too.

Why don't you contact Revell to see if they have the chrome sprues. I asked for 10 Simba tyres a few years ago, said i'd pay for them but they sent them free
