Hi, Can any of our American experts tell me anything about the numbers you get on US liveries. Such numbers are prefixed by abbreviations such as 'ICC MC' and 'TN HF' and 'VIN' and 'KYU' . I'm guessing GW means Gross Weight.
Cheers Wolfie.

good guess there with the GW. this can also be expressed as GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) for the truck alone (rigid or semi without trailer), GCM (Gross Combination Mass) truck with trailer/s, I have no idea on the ICC MC, TN HF or KYU, but i know with engines and vehicle replacement parts, they quite often require a VIN which is the Vehicle Identification Number. Although i'm not sure if thats the way that it's being used on the subjects you've enquired about.
