I started to build the Hiab crane but some modifications we need to make it sit correctly. The out rigger legs needed lengthening and the hydraulic support legs lengthing too. Some of the chassis mounting points were relocated and some discarded too. The Hydraulic controls were moved so they are just on the N/S of the truck. Well for some reason I thought the gun metal grey I had was metallic.... but it isnt! however it doesnt look that bad... Once dried the wheels were added and stand out against the chassis well. Just got a few bits to paint now, like the crane parts and cab....

Nice choice of colour and paint job looks very clean. I need lessons!!!!!!!!!! Is the chequerplate back to alluminium again.
