In this months TMW they show a build/review of the re-issued Revell low loader trailer. Does anyone know where I can get hold of one of these, as although it is 1/25 not 1/24. I have an interesting build idea for it and then to be part of my Scania build/diorama. All help appreciated Cheers Pat J.

It's been released again, so it should be available at any good model shops.

Also does anyone know what the max load weight could be for the low loader? ie could it carry another tractor unit or possibly a unimog ?

Could certainly carry a tractor unit, you could do that on a standard flat trailer.

PS Whats a unimog?

You'd get that on a standard flat trailer too.

... Revell issued a number of variants ... Snow Plough, Paris / Dakar Racing Truck and two Fire Trucks (Pump and a Rescue Tender) to be precise ... and I've got them all.

If I can't find the Revell kit I may have to feed my KFS addiction and order the Auslowe 1/24 41' step frame trailer kit 3 axle with the low loader ramp kit ;D
I believe this is the tri-axle version of the one Fatty used for his Volvo build.
Any info appreciated as usual especially any advice on the Auslowe kit as it looks quite a complex kit to build (well lots of parts anyway)

Ok I've tracked a dealer on the net who stocks these ;D Problem is he is in Austria and when I tried setting up an account it kept asking for a VAT number anyone know what to put in here? the web address is www.modelltrucksandparts.atHe has lots of other goodies too but as I can't set up an account not sure how to get bits from him. Although he does list KFS stuff so may have to ask Howard if he can bring these kits in to the uk. Works out around 30 quid plus shipping for the kit but he doesn't show shipping costs on the site either.

AL1 to above I'm hard at work honest Now found the shop mentioned in TMW www.modell4you.atand I am now 57 euros (39-95 + 17 p&p) lighter in my wallet and have a nice 'little' package on it's way from Austria. ;D Looks I may have a fleet build on now with two trailers on the way. May have to pluck up the courage and build the Peterbilt or do a tractor unit kit swap to haul the low loader.
