That's KFS not KFC ;D Ok who introduced me to the wonders of KFS and all those shiny things. I started with just a few small detailing bits for the Wacky Racer and the Tow Truck but it's getting worse I have just about all the pieces for the Scania conversion just a few more detailing and finishing pieces to get. But enough to get the build started this week. Do we have a KFS anonymous or is that what the Truck SIG is really ;D

You can spend some serious money with Howard. Bought a load of Plastrut fineline tubing from him a couple of years ago at gaydon - cost me £50

In the last 12 months i've purchased around AUD$650 worth of goods from KFS (although some were Auslowe and White Fang items) for various projects, a lot of them were for future projects however majority of them were for my current one. It's a 1:25 scale demag crane, it's the six axle AC665. The carrier alone (no boom yet) is around 585mm long, with the boom fitted and sitting rearward on the tri axle dolly it'll be 973mm long.
Admittedly some of these items needed modification, for example, the driven front axle kit needed a wider track width, so i bought two, stretched them and made one or two other mod's and then re-cast them (with howards permission of course). Possibly the most expensive item was the wheels/tyres. I bought 7 sets of his biggest ones the 60mm MPT-7 at around AUD$20 per pair. (Remember, the Aussie Dollar is currently only worth around half a Brittish Pound)
