Hi Guys
I'm looking to form a new nationwide group for modellers of GP and Race cars.
Provisionally titled The Grand Prix Modellers Association (UK).
Any takers for membership?

Does this have any tie up or similarities with the GPMA on Yahoo Groups?

Hi Ian Love the idea! Unfortunately a nationwide group of three to date wouldn't appear to be viable  There must be more folks with similar interests out there. Perhaps they just aint in IPMS for some reason. Whatever, count me in  Dave |

Ian,
I am interested, so count me in. At the moment I am doing a lot of travelling so more research than modelling. Currently my interest is centred around the Targa Florio, does this fall within the proposed remit. I will build at least one red racer this year, honest.

I obviously have my own ideas on such a group. I don't think getting members will be a major problem as long as the remit is wide enough.
I'll get a lounge area setup at Huddersfield!

Hi Ian would just like to extend a welcome to your new group and offer an invitation to Modelsport 2006 at the Holiday Inn Telford on the 25th march Iam one of the organisers from the special interest group LES GARAGISTES.Its nice to see that the motorsport interest side of the hobby gaining momentum regards Gary Constable
