Fujimi (I think) released the old Audi A80 which was very similar to the Passat. It's a saloon by I would think could form the basis of an estate (Avante) if you're feeling brave? Rich

Pat I have been buying up kits on a similar premise for a while. Maybe this could make a good theme or group build [thinks, how do group builds work?] although I need a crew cab Unimog 1300 and a FJ40 Landcruiser for my line up.

Francis, have a look at the group build thread elsewhere on the forum, there's a discussion section where you can make suggestions for a build. There's also a FAQ section on just what constitutes a group build.
