Hi all, I am often asked a model shows how I make my discs of plastic or aluminium foil all to the same standard , many years ago I invested in a Multi Turreted Hole punch , I bought mine from a market stall selling leather belts , which is the original use for it. Punching holes for the prongs.
How to use it ,. Firstly select the dia of disc required , then the plastic card up to 20 thou max , place apiece of cardboard on the brass base plate then the plastic card on top and press , I never cut out more than two discs at a time . you need A scrap piece of wire to punch out the discs hey presto you can repeat it as many times as you like dia of the holes are as follows . starting with the smallest first , 1.5mm , 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm,4mm and lst 5mm.
