Some of you may know but the company I work for has secured the contract to Break H.M.S Intrepid, She was towed from Portsmouth to Liverpool yesterday ready for dismantling. As a gift to the boss they ordered a 28" model of the ship from ovr seas, unfortunately it got heavily damaged and I have been given the task to re-build her. All the smoke stacks, primary and secondary masts, life boats amd various other parts on deck got smashed off. I have also got to scratch build some other parts that are missing. Here is where i am at so far.... Need to make some sides for the gallery. Re-do all the rigging. Re-paint all the parts glued back on.

Paul, just a word of warning about placing any plans on the forum which may be subject to some form of copyright, if in doubt ... don't!
I believe the company you work for now owns the vessel prior to her being dismantled, but there may still be some form of Admiralty copyright on the plans, not to mention the security implications.

Quite right. Al drawings produced by, for or on behalf of the Ministry of Defence will be subject to the restrictions of the Official Secrets Act and unless the document has been stamped "Declassified" then it would be a breach of the act to copy or publish it in any way. A little known fact is that when you sign the Official Secrets Act all you are signing is that you have read and understand the relevant part of the act. Everybody is subject to the act, whether they have signed it or not.
