Modelhobbies is selling the Airfix Nimrod at 21.49. www.modelhobbies.co.uk/shop/Considering I bought 2 of them at retail price when they hit the shelves I'm now as sick as the proverbial pig...

Thats the case with all first/new buy's, you pay through the nose at retail price, but in some cases a few days or a month and the price comes down. I used to fall for that Neil in the Games department by buying the first edition of a game and then next week it was giving away . Seems we never learn ;D. Sounds good on the Nimrod, have only five Aircraft in my stash to do.

I had to make sure I got the Nimrod kit as it's my all time favourite aircraft. Considering what happened with the TSR2 when it came out I wasn't going to take any chances But yeah, like you I tend to wait for things, especially games. Just started playing Silent Hunter IV now that it's dropped in price. And now that GT Legends has become cheaper I'm looking at that too. The great advantage of buying older games is you can get patches for them, rather than struggling to get a game working on a bog standard PC...and not succeeding. Only 5 planes to do? That's heinous, you need to stock up...
