At SMW this weekend I came by 4 built models in 1/72nd on the 'Find the Model a Home' stand. All were damaged to some extent but I like a challenge - its nice to renovate stuff!! Can anyone tell me what make kits they were? I think the 2 'E's were Airfix but I'm not sure about the 'G's. I have e-mailed Airfix to try to get hold of a couple of canopies for the 'E's and a pair of propellors/spinners for the 'G's. I am just wondering what the markings represent. Are they as per kit or aftermarket? They are as follows:-
'E' 7+1. Yellow tail, yelow nose with red vertical stripe all around cowel. 'E' 1+ . Black top hat in front of the '1' .Richthoffen shield. 'G' 20+1 in yellow. Blue/red Defence of the Reich fuselage band. 'G' <+1 with the name 'Christl' below the port windscreen.
Please let me know what you think as I have precious little WWII Luftwaffe reference material! A PM would be useful.
Thanks
Simon

I picked up a Commonwealth Boomerang, which is now part of the Australia SIG collective!
Recycled Models - I love it!
Cheers,
