It's small in 35th, so it's gonna be an itsy bitsy little sucker in 48th. I'm just hoping tamiya reverse engineer it, after all they've been reducing 35th to 48th so they just need to go in the opposite direction... And yeah, the AA kit isn't cheap, mind you with a 2.5% VAT discount it could make all the difference You may get your Daimler, who would have thought we'd get a Staghound, Humber, Cruiser tank and a new Dingo a few years ago.

If only someone would produce a 1/24 version ...

It'll go nicely with my growing 1:48th collection, sorry chaps. It would of course make a good addition for aircraft modellers as the RAF version, for a small aircraft ground base. Also the ICM 1:48 RAF ground crew are great figures, really well sculpted and moulded. I've just finshed a set myself.

Do not be sorry lioner mate.
I to have ordered one of the Tillie's, for a ground Diorama.
Also have the Japanese trucks/cargo/re fueler and the little car for some diorama's planned in 1/48 scale.
The figures for these are great with drivers for Cargo/car and refueler and two refueling an Aircraft or a tank in that scale.

Hi All, It's very small in 1/48, but it's a dream to build, one of the nicest kits I've ever built. Highly recomended to all. Jason

If only someone would produce a 1/24 version ... Tee hee Nick Now that really is wishfull thinking but it would go nice with that Queen Mary you are planning. Itchy Scratchy build is well within your capabilities though. Nige

I looked at a couple of 1:1 vehicles yesterday at Elvington, there's also another I've seen somewhere marked as bomb disposal, but I can wait Nige.

Robert, nice job, I noticed that the model is on the carpet on the last two shots, watch out for the carpet monster, although I doubt that it'll appear, it only goes for those lonely little kit pieces, not a full model.

Thanks. Caution is always uppermost when anything goes on the floor, even though it's only there for a few seconds for the photo to be taken. I've spent enough hours on my hands and knees looking for missing bits which fall on the floor and magically vanish.

Well as for little bits falling on the floor. I have got in the habit of haveing a big old model box on me knees, this helps to catch most things, other than those that sometimes think they can fly lol.

I've Just added to the 1:48th softskins. I finished this 'Wespe' resin kit of the 4x4 Humber Utility Car (which I picked up from their stand at SMW last year). Nice kit, and good addition to the collection. I saw a real one at the Battlefront North event earlier in the year and took a liking to it, so when I saw the kit at SMW, I just had to have one.

Hi Loiner mate.
You seem to have lost your pictures of the Humber 4x4.
Nice kit that one.
