Hi All,
Apologies for the slight delay, but the Annual Return and SMW2009 Space booking forms are all printed and I'm stuffing envelopes as we speak. I was supposed to send them out by the end of Jan, but a combination of hectic day job and domestic issues has delayed that by a week or so.
This year the return is being sent out by post to everyone, as the SMW forms will be allocated space on an as received basis. The reason for this is to give everyone a level playing field for returning the forms and to encourage you to get the forms back to me pronto.
I have extended the deadline for returning the forms to 17th April (was 31st March last year). The reason for this is to align with the society M&A requirement that returns should be received no later than 28 days before the AGM. Returns received after this date (or not at all) will result in Branches and SIGs being placed under 12 months notice.
I also plan to send acknowledgements (post or e-mail as required) out for each return as I receive them.
Hope this is clear.
Cheers,
Rob Monfea UKLO for IPMS (UK)

Still haven't sent the Annual Return out - my partner Clare is in hospital and had an operation yesterday, so the real world is affecting things a bit.
I'm off work today, so I hope to have everything in the post by 16:00 this evening.
Thanks for your patience,
Rob M.

Thanks Nick, I'll pass on your good wishes when I go in this evening. She had a bad drop in Blood Pressure last night, so they're keeping her in tonight. Good news is that the Annual Return went out this afternoon to everyone.
Cheers,
Rob M.

I had a mild panic last night when JT asked about whether I'd returned the Return, but everything's clear now. Best wishes to your partner Clare. I hope she's feeling much better soon.

Cheers Guys,
Hoping to get her home tomorrow.
If all is well I should be at Huddersfield on Sunday.
See you around,

Clare came out of Hospital on Saturday Morning, but with a drain still fitted, hence my non-appearance at Huddersfield on Sunday. She thanks you all for your concern and is already starting to feel better (she's certainly bossing me around enough).
And the first of the Annual Returns are back to me too...
Congratulations to Nick Greenall - First Return back 2 years running! Haydn came a close second.
Will keep a running update on here.
Keep em coming Folks,
Cheers,
Rob M.
