Hi All, Foxy suggested posting here my favorite model made some time ago ...... Not sure if its the bilstein crane but i sure enjoyed building it from the Tamiya kit and three Eduard etched sets FRIULMODELL seperate track links and loads of bits from other kits. Heres some pics ...... Odd touch up of paint was needed on the brass window and slight careful straighten. Driver awaits after looking at the map ahead. Still needed final finishing off when these pics where taken ... the front wheels look bit off but think they might have been just sat wrong. After recieving an offer i couldnt refuse i sold it shame really as it took a good while to do but there are better conversion sets available now so one day another Famo might hit the workbench. The canvas canopy is made from milliput over the brass etched frame a very satifying part of the project.

Excellent model Charles. I have a resin Bilstein crane conversion from Tiger Models, cost me about £80 a couple of years ago at Beltring, I'll have to get the track links now. I'm going to build mine as a civilian version, which apparently, was painted red.

Great stuff upnick lol.
The look of it does give the impression of a work horse 'ansome'.
