Finally all done - have exorcised my PE demon with this and now feel much more comfortable with it. The camera makes the weathering look a lot more severe than it actually is. See what you think. Overall colour was Olive Green with a light overspray of middle stone to show dust build up. I also randomly sprayed Black Green and Russian Green to add a little tonal variation. After a thin spray of Klear I lightly brushed on some powdered pastels (sandy colour) to further tone the green down.

'Hey Paul', Nice looking model matey.
I see you have plummed for the Canadian one.
Are the mudguards on the front PE, 'they look it'.
Or you have thinned them down, like the finish.
Is that the base your going to use for this model.

Foxy
There is a lot of PE on this but not the front mudguards - they were commendably thin. The front bumper and frame is, as is the latches on the back, door handles and all the fiddly little bits on the gun itself.
The rear mudgards are PE - I am fully at home with PE now this has really been a good learning session
The finish is multiple greens which look quite severe in the photo but are much more subtle on real life.
Its fixed to that base as it was done for a work colleague whose husband worked on the guns in the 80's.

I started the same kit at Beltring last year, I think I'll pull it out of storage over the winter. Nice build Paul.
