Meanwhile Terry Campion, Ginger, Algy, Bertie and friends have formed a SIG dedicated to that quintessential English flying ace and adventurer James Bigglesworth. The collected stories encompass no fewer than 98 official books and an opportunity for modelling content that is quite simply enormous! For more page turning info contact Terry at: campion@terrymidi.fsnet.co.uk
Cheers,
Rob M.

Stunning!! Got 3 "Biggles" flying boats "on the go" as I type!! Look out for Stafford's "Biggles theme" at Telford, and the SIG will be displaying here and there in 2010.

Many thanks. It's been great fun so far, and I'm currently reading the latest compendium of stories. ;D Here's a Beriev Be-6 "done up" according to the front cover of a Biggles story..."Biggles Takes Charge"...published overseas. It was good fun, the kit cost a mere £3 (I have 4 more too ) and no doubt will be modified into other Biggles configurations....there are a number. My wife says I'm sad as I have a little notebook with references included from the various texts I have. Attachments:

We thought it was quite good, too - a pity the judges of the Branch displays didn't recognise the fact!!! Couldn't find the thread, by the way.

So who did win the display comp? IIRC it was the NASA SIG who retained their award? Rich
