Have started two projects of the Takeo Heavy cruiser and the Nagara Light Cruiser both from Aoshoma Kits in 1/350 scale. They both come in two halves with support braces to hold the frame square. The Takeo has been around for sometime in varies scales but the Nagara only recently. So will be talking mainly on the Nagara build but with pictures of the Takeo as well. The Nagara Lt Cruiser can be made for water line displaying, I am having it on mount display. More pictures soon. Attachments:

Hi Melvin and Tim, thanks. Both the Takeo and the Nagara Have etchings that come with them but need more. The Takeo Etchings came from Gold Medal Models, and I got mine from Hannants for the Takeo. I have masked the windows for spraying and even the aircraft has etchings for the supporting the wings and floats plus propellers. The Nagara have there own Etchings but not railings etc, I got the windows/Launcher Plane Gib and other steps etc from Models for sale, this comes in a fret, because the launcher is a special one that Nagara used. I have extra IJN railings and other parts which I used to finish Nagara with. Pictures to follow shortly.
