Ayup Paul, I presume that the sale now on will continue for a tad longer, I saved £20 on that Scania R500.

Santa was kind, got White Ensign 1/350 HMS Mary Rose, WW1 destroyer, great kit. That will go straight on the old workbench.

Santa brought me a present early, A visit from a Paramedic after a rather nasty fall out side the house.
Looks like im going to have to get my shoulder blade x-rayed as it is still giving me some excruciation pain still.

Had my eye on that as a possible first resin kit from White ensign for a while. Please post again and tell us what you thought of the kit and its build up? Sorry to hear of your misfortune fatty. Hope you feel better soon!

Hey Paul
Hope that is not your cutting arm you have knackered!!!!!!!! I bet you felt such an ass sitting on your but!!!!!! I have given our path a quick scrape as a result of hearing your plight. Don't want me and mine ending up with the same.
Get well soon.

Modelzone Rocks ;D Got the Scania R500 for 19-99 and the bone Daddy Chopper for 6-99 so both for less than half price so I'm a happy bunny even had some xmas money left to go into Hobbycraft and get some Tamiya Fine primer as they had some on sale. The better half got a dress she's been after for a while that was reduced with 60% off and got my little one some new togs from Next as everything there was 60% or more off there. So a good day was had by all. ;D

My son got a couple HobbyBoss kits. Seriously fantastic models for the 5-10yrs modellers. The Corsair is a work of art. Had to spend my money on a new telly. Who would have thought that a well aimed remote with enough forward thrust can blow a box. Why the BBC saw fit to mention Jade Goody and Michael Jackson in the space of one minute on Xmas Eve is beyond me...just lost my rag (again). Happy new Year Everyone.

No plastic under the tree for me but I've visited 2 Modelzones since and have 7 aeroplane kits to show for it - all Revell, naturally but at less than half RRP it's hard to resist. Note; not all stores have the same offers, it seems.

Didn't get any kit items at Christmas but did get myself the complete box set of Babylon 5 which i am currently enjoying.
A friend did tell me though of the new Trumpeter 1/35th Triebwagen, which i have a lot of pictures of and one of the Armoured rail engines which i am interested in and also i was looking perhaps at a 2TB external hard drive. For those who don't know the one i heard about can hold up to 568,000 pictures, many hours of video as well as a lot more. Looking forward to spending some of my small Christmas bonus. Nice. Ian

Bablyon 5? That'll take a while. Whole new thread there if I get started Currently building a Star Fury too (it's been on the go for oooh... 10 years?). Enjoy. Londo: I hate my life. G'Kar: Yes. I hate your life too. Best double act since Morecombe and Wise.

Note; not all stores have the same offers, it seems. I also visited a Modelzone (Trafford Centre) in the sales and picked up an exceptionally valued Sopwith Camel. Don't normally do WWI but at the price I paid I thought a token 1918 fighter wouldn't go a miss. Probably paid more on paint for it than for the kit itself.

Received a brace of Airfix 1/72 SHARs (FRS.1 and FA.2) and a selection of new paint brushes.
Also got a mini Meccano Biplane!
Cheers,
Rob M.
