Having attended some two day events over the last few years, I've always been left with the impression that Saturday is busier than Sunday. But as I say that is just an impression and a very unscientific one at that.

You have a point there beepeep. Two day events do tend to make a Sunday less appealing to people attending. But if on its own seems to attract also. Sunday seems to be as normal as a weekday with more things going on as people have the day off. So do not see a problem in this day and age to useing Sunday for what ever. Is that not the choice we still have.

Must admit from a personal point of view, I prefer Saturdays, especially if it is a longish run. I find getting up early on Sunday Morning & home late, I am knackered on Monday morning & it goes downhill from there. From North London, I would not do Yeovilton if it was on a Sunday, and have dropped out of going to Avon because it is, (Unless I can blag the Monday off work)
Having said that I understand the Logic of show's being on Sunday from an organisational point of view.
Also to echo peebeep's point above, being a regular two day attendee at Souther Expo for a number of years, saturday particularly the Morning is the bussiest time, also Telford I think is the same.

Just by pure coincidence and self-interest, I'll throw 2p in here too. Sunday always sucks for me. For instance, I have a football match to watch and a softball game to play this Sunday, so that's me buggered for Huddersfield. I'm quite happy to make a trip on a Saturday and have done so for all the shows I've attended so far... alright... all 3 of them . Sunday is for getting your crap together for the next weeks' work and attempting tp clean the hovel.
