Hi .
Well have just received me Bulldozer from Hobby Link Japan.
Its a great kit made by Tamiya and makes up into a real gem for display or Diorama. Was going to show some pictures but had a nasty scare when trying to DL from photo bucket(In Off Topic).
But had it built in a morning and sprayed by tea time.
Goes together very well and the plans are easy to follow, the tracks come in one piece and the only down side is the spade on the front will not lift, It has only one position.

Didn't know it was made by Tamiya. Just googled it and it looks like a nice kit.

You'll have to post a photo Foxy. I've read about this kit and would be good to see one made up.
Presumably they were used across the Pacific campaign to help with all those scratch built Jap landing strips on all the Pacific islands, and presumably as the U.S. counter attacked and took over many Jap airstrips they could well have been utilised by the U.S. too. Lots of scope for dioramas there, either as the feature or part of a richly detailed backdrop.

Hi Lioner mate. Well the bulldozer was a near copy of the American one's captured early in the war and yes were used in place of manpower(picks and shovels) for heavy work. As for picture's, well because of virus from said photo bucket I am refraining from using that medium, which means until I find another place to send pictures, photo's are out for me, sorry .

Looks neat and compact. I may have to invest in one, perhaps do one a bit rusted as a backdrop for a captured airfield scenario.
