Just got a call from my card company, someone tried to charge 3 USD.
Interestingly I have NOT used the card with Hannants for any orders yet, I simply had updated my card details last month, when I got a new card because the old one had expired.

And my Credit Card was also tried today! Bank were wise to it and froze the card.

Was that an oldie card Rob or a new one that got hit for the second time. I have had my card that got hit zapped and a new one sent, maybe anyone who has used Hannants should do the same for there own peace of mind. .

I canceled my old card just in case, It was registered on the Hannants site. So it made sence to me to kill the old one before some scumbag tried to use the details. I think I was lucky, as ive not spotted anything out of the ordinary on my bank account.

well guys ,after a cracking weekend at telford i got online today to have a look at what the damage was and OMG my bank account had been raided on the early hours of friday morning to the tune of 800 nicker and a further 500 pending ..it turns out i have been paying bt and mobile phone bills in the uk and having a spending spree in the us.... CHECK YOUR CARDS AND BANK ACCOUNTS BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.. Roy

Surely it was blatently obvious,what has been going on with Hannants.Did you not check.Lets hope you have a decent bank.

james thankfully the bank will be returning the missing moneys to my account in the next 2 days..allong with a new card. it must have been 9 months ago that i used hannants online .. just goes to show you never know roy

Latest news from Hannants on this issue:
Regarding the credit card problems we have had a meeting with HSBC Fraud Department. They have suggested we employ Forensic Investigators. As a result we are retaining 7Safe (Cambridge) to check out every aspect of the system. They have estimated that this will take up to 10 days. We will let you know the results as soon as we can.
Rest assured that they are taking this issue very seriously and are taking action to prevent such occurances in the future.
