Ok now everyones going green means my idea to do the Actros kit I got off Nick as a belgian army head unit is not going to be as individual As soon as the instructions turn up I can arm myself with the spray cans and crack on finishing the build. Cab and ancillaries will be sprayed this weekend. Just a quick one though what is the standard colours for Mercedes truck engines and also Scania ones.

Pat, the instruction sheet for the Actros is playing hide and seek, I'll get into the workshop on Sunday and have a good look for it. In the meantime, has anyone got a spare set of instructions for the Italeri Actros they could let Pat have?

Hi there Looks like a great chance to get slight variations in the green for the cab and low loader. I hope folks might put at least one pic of their build on the Logistics forum maybe with a pic of the real truck to build up the range of vehicles in use around the world. Nick pinched my meat wagons for the soft skins forum so need some back. ;D ;D Tee hee ;D Nige

Quick guys ,,,,,,,, white wash them all and stick some Michellan men on the roof and furry dice on the windscreens.
Just make sure the white is washable.

... Just a quick one though what is the standard colours for Mercedes truck engines and also Scania ones. Pat, as far as I'm aware, Mercedes engines are a deep green although the V8 would be correct painted silver. The Scania engines can be a duck-egg blue, mid green or brick red.

Or the same colour as the chassis - depending when it was painted.

I think Nige (Okdoky) has a point though about moving some stuff into the logistics board, we have to decide where this thread is going, military or commercial? ... Young Mr Findon, flip the coin lad!
