me and the wife took a vaction finally after 18 years and boy did we need that well im back and did alot of searching for ideas last time i posted i stated i had to remake the the lower rear panel due to not being strong enough any body doing this size of truck, .080 and .060 walls are not thick enough i had to remake with .125 and use bracing. for the center water tank compartment i bought rectangle tubing for making an interstructure.warping on something this size is your worse enemy have to say, im still learning everyday. for as i can see ,everything is ok now and i can move forward enginr comartment is on,rear lower panel is mounted, you can see ive added a working outlet and all rear wiring is done if anybody see a structure flaw ,please let me know

on this truck the top 2 boxes are mounted on the front and are of a different style so again i remade the 2x boxes useing .080 and .125 styene with rectangle tubing for the inside no warping on these babies these 2x boxes have doors like the lower box also add the alum plate .to where the cab steps are.right now im putting in decals for the dash and painting the steering wheel you no whats funny. the parts that i didnt use is almost another truck. i thinking when im done. ill fix the other parts, sand them down and rebuild the 4x4

It's an impressive looking truck Joe, shouldn't be too long before the batteries go in and it's switched on and run for the first time.

today i started on the cab steps, i wanted to keep it the brush alum look. so i bought a very thin peice of alum i will top it off with a peice of diamond plate too there a door next to the step.for some reason they look chrome. so made it out of .040 styrene and chrome decal, added some screw the top front boxes is about ready for paint. im going to add a top lamp you really dont know how much detail is in one of these trucks untill you build one. wow
