Just as the title suggests...
Hello everyone, thought it was about time I got myself a presence on the IPMS forum after being the Coastal Command SIG leader for the last couple of years. I'm a lifetime modelling addict having started young and never stopped, primarily build in 1/72 and my interests are very much WW2 and Cold War RAF, especially Coastal Command and Fleet Air Arm.
Regards
Tom

Hi Tom, We have a mutual interest overlap as I'm Recce SIG, which of course also covers MR. Not forgetting of course, as you'll know, that during WWII the RAF's main strategic PR activities came under Coastal Command. As John says, a fine subject. I must get on with my 311 Sqn Liberator some time ...

Well chaps, while we're comparing sizes - I used to be the Classic British Kits SIG leader - does that still count?!!
Ha ha, just kidding, good to see you made it here Tom. Looking forward to the plans you have for the CC SIG next year, and glad to be a part of it. Cheers Al.

Thanks for the welcome chaps! Can't believe it's taken me so long to get signed up to the 'official' board. I'm very keen to expand the CC SIG this year as it covers such a wide range of subjects and is often overlooked when up against the likes of Bomber and Fighter commands. We aren't known as the Cinderella Service for nothing you know....
