I must be getting the bug for trucks as I decided to start this tonight. Whilst awaiting paint to cure on the Volvo and in need of paint and supplies to arrive for the bike and receiving this one in the post today I thought why not ;D. Ever since I started the Volvo I have wondered if there was a racing truck model out there as this would be something different to show at the motorsport model show, Telford. I had never seen one, then last week spotted this one on Ebay as you do I thought "I like that" and got it for £17.00 quid which I thought was'nt to bad, so here she is: The Mercedes 1450LS: And the progress for tonight:

As you can see from your box art, you can build the truck in two different versions, there was also a version for Steve Parrish, although you the little yellow plastic duck Steve carried on the rear of the truck is not provided with the kit. There were also the racing truck transporters (M.A.N), they came with a heavy haul trailer c/w workshop, the one I have is for the TCH racing team, no, not TC Harrison, but the German 'Truck Centre Hauser'. public.fotki.com/modeltrucks25thscale/truckkit_instructions/revell/07540-phoenix-man-r/
