I see Alanger have just brought out a 1/35th scale Valentine Mk IX, kit number ALG35030 at around £16.00 pounds. Another one for me, Getting longer than the Euro Tunnel is me list.

Hi I hope it is not a re issue of the original kit with add on parts . Original had serious problems over sink marks in suspension parts , lack of engine deck details and fit of parts in general . I hope it is sorted out or better still a new kit all round cheers ian

Yes I remember that one Ian, I hope to that this will be a revamped kit also with new molds made. I have been trying to get hold of a decent Injection molded kit of this type and not a resin one.

Now then, I had the 'misfortune' of having the Maquette version of this kit. Which i think was based on VM/Dragon kits of the Mk III Valentine. It was AWFUL. As you say, sink marks that you could loose a small child in and poor details. If I recall it was moulded in 3 shades of grey plastic, which had a very greasy feel to it, even after washing. I also had the VM/Dragon Bishop, same problems as above. I got shot of that one to napoleon ;D The Valentine went in the charity bag! I'm not holding much hope out got the Alanger kit. With any luck i'll be proved wrong (as usual : Cheers, Steve
