Hi all , this is one of several Lamposts I have made over the years. It is for my railway platfon. So it needed to be a 30's in style . I used a hex thumb tack for the base , a pen top for the lower section , sprue for the pole bent to shape . The lamp fitting is from the spares bin. A Italeri gas bottle cap. a wheel origin unknown . my last brass thumb tack , the brass lamp holder is from a cheap propelling pencil and the globe is an other thumb tack . I search out stationary stores to see what shapes they have in bubble packs . Put it all together and hey presto a lampost . cheers ian

Hey Ian you could even put a real bulb in the lamp with the wire threaded through to the base, at 12 volts. LEDs are good as they do not give off heat. Then your passengers can see were there going at night.
