Can anyone tell me if/where I can get a detail update set for the 1/35 pink panther? Do aber or verlinden do any? Also, i am told that many of these vehicles were used in europe in normal black/green DPM camoflage. Is this true? If so, did they run on normal 750x16 bargrip tyres as per the tamiya landrover ambulance?
Any help much appreciated.
Dan.

To be honest I am not impressed with the PE sets for this kit . As they mainly relpace round profile kit parts with flat PE , as to Europe cammo it was standard Nato black and green and normal tyers as you noted , happy Yule tide cheers ian

I have decided to build it as standard desert spec, but I order a PE set (aber?) for it. Will post some pics when I can.

Have a look in the current edition of 'Military Machines' magazine (April 2006), an 8 page photo special on the Pink Panther, it includes a photo of 10 FG 34 in the original bronze green and black camo as it was issued from the Marshall's factory in Cambridge.
