Hi all , I have to pass on good service , I ordered the Modelers Annual 2010 on 5th April and it arrived safe and sound today. So what is this all about , If you never buy an other book on weathering cars , trucks, buildings . railways . You will not be dissapointed with this book it is breathtaking and the ideas are universal to all sections of the hobby. Esp the treatment of rusting engines etc. So who provided this fast service . bill@billhudsontransportbooks.co.uk It cost £18.95 plus P&P of £1.90. See scan of the cover and Nick or Fatty may beat me to selecting a couple of photos to illustrate the depth of detail in the book . cheers ian >

I have to agree with Ian about this book, it's a superb insight into weathering and scratch building. I bought my copy at the model railway show at the Harvey Hadden centre near Nottingham in March, as did Fatty. Oh, they only had two copies and unfortunately for once, Ian was a little slower than me to the book stall, which is why Ian had to order his ... oops!
;D

I've been working on my entry to the Rundown Building Challenge in 1:1 scale for the last 11 years Steve, there's the possibility of a book on how you achieved it then? ;D Ian, showing the cover is fair game and it's a superb taster to the contents inside, but scanning parts of articles and placing them on an open forum may just contravene the copyright of the author and publisher.
