Hi All, As I started my latest scratch build based on the Italeri Opel Blitz kit for a load on one of my flat cars , It set me wondering how many do scratch build parts or full sections for kits that are not available . I will post up photos when I have time to photo the troop shelter , it is based on an actual photo of a field built one in Russia mid 1942 period . Looking at it, I think they have been infuenced by a closed railway wagon for the style and size . cheers ian

Hi Ian. Well have scratch built for many years, mostly in 1/72nd, but as I am hitched now on 1/35th scale the only scratch so far has been bridges, not shure if this counts but have modified some kits to suit Diorama's in 1/35th. The only down side is that I cannot get the hang of putting pictures on the forums I chat on, but will get the angle of it soon I hope, haveing photoshop now installed.

Hi Steve
Did the hook loader drawings help? Now I see what you wanted them for.
Looks really great and nice to see you building a Loggies sort of thing! You will need to post it on the loggies site just before you add the tracks though.
Kind of sneak it in by the back door so to speAK!!!!! Tee hee!!!!!!!
I won't tell anyone it isn't a wheelie kind of vehicle if you don't

PS Barv
Have you any close ups as to how you put the flat rack together. Am dying to see the hook loader arms, etc to see how it should be done. Have hit a wall with my DROPS for the moment.
